SIMFEROPOL / AKMESDZHIT (QHA) -

An outbreak of a dangerous infection, called Newcastle disease, has been registered in Leninsky district in Crimea, reported "Crimean Events."

According to the Kerch Veterinary Service, a required vaccination is being done.

Newcastle disease is dangerous primarily for chickens, but there are cases when the disease was transmitted to pigeons. For a man the Newcastle disease does not pose a serious danger.

As QHA reported earlier, ASF quarantine is being lifted in Crimea.
