Operation against “ISIL” in Turkey; two Russians seized

The detainees are suspected of having links with “ISIL”.

While conducting a detainee operation in the city of Antalya, the Turkish law enforcement seized people suspected of having links with a terrorist organization the "Islamic State".

Early this morning, the Turkish law enforcement officers simultaneously conducted two operations in Kyshla and Sharmpol avenues, the city of Muratpaşa (Antalya region). In the course of the operation, a Turkish citizen and a Russian couple have been seized.

Antalya Police said the detainees kept in touch with the “ISIL” terrorists in Iraq and Syria. After a medical examination, the suspects were sent for questioning to the Anti- Terrorism Center.
