CAIRO (QHA) - At least 16 people have been killed in Egypt outside the military barracks in Cairo where ousted President Mursi is being held – according to medical sources.
The Muslim Brotherhood put the number of dead at 34, Euronews reports.
A field hospital has been set up to deal with the wounded.
The Muslim Brotherhood allege that they were fired on by the army and police during morning prayers.
The military said on state TV that a “terrorist group” had tried to storm the building and one army officer had been killed.
