Molotoff cocktail kills 16 people in Cairo restaurant

According to Egyptian police, 16 people were killed in a fire that occurred in a Cairo restaurant, reports Reuters.

The fire was caused by a Molotoff cocktail thrown inside the restaurant by its former employee.

The restaurant is located in the Agouza area in the center of the Egyptian capital.

The victims were burned to death or died from smoke inhalation. The restaurant was located in a basement, offering no escape route, the officials said.
