Ukrainian military are prepared for any variant of development, Head of the Ukrainian South Air Command's press center Volodymyr Kryzhanivsky reported.
The exercises will involve crews of combat Air Force transport aircrafts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, unmanned communications units, signal corps, divisions of anti-aircraft missiles, and missile systems S-300.
Volodymyr Kryzhanivsky went on to say that the military exercises and tests operations are being carried out strictly as planned, and in accordance with all international agreements.
"Ukraine does not violate anything. If you look at the trajectory and the defined area and draw a conditional line from the peninsula, were the launchers will be located, to the city of Burgas in Bulgaria, you will notice that the line will be far enough from the coast of the Crimean peninsula. The closest approximation of missiles cannot be more than 30 km," he said.
As QHA reported earlier, Speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Lysenko said that Russian threats and provocations will not prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct the exercises.
