As of the morning of April 12, terrorists in the east of Ukraine carried out forty-five shellings on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over a day.
“The situation remains tense ... Five Ukrainian defenders were injured," the press center of the ATO headquarters informed.
According to the report, the pro-Russian militants used large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles in the Primorsky direction. Sniper activity was recorded in the area of Vodyanoe, Novotroitskoe, Maryinka and Krasnogorovka.
In the Donetsk direction the militants opened mortar fire from cannons of different caliber, and the Ukrainian defenders of the village of Luganskoye were fired from Zu-23-2 anti-aircraft gun.
A number of shelling was also recorded in the Luhansk direction.
Earlier QHA reported that April 10 at 18:45, Russian-terrorist forces began firing at the positions of the ATO forces near Maryinka, Donetsk region, as a result of which, residential buildings were hit.
