Ukrainian military told about the militants’ attempts to knock off a surveillance camera of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in the village of Lebedinskoye, reported the 5 TV Channel.
- Ukrainian soldiers defending the village of Lebedinskoe tell that the enemy starts firing as soon as it gets dark. This has been lasting for two weeks. The terrorists open fire from occupied Sahanki. They try to knock off a camera of the OSCE SMM fixed on the tower, 5 TV Channel reported on YouTube.
According to a Ukrainian soldier, the terrorist are firing the tower even with anti-tank guided missiles.
As QHA reported earlier, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission will be working at the Ukrainian-Russian border until October 31, 2016. The decision to extend the Mission’s work for another three months was accepted on July, 7 at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.
Thus, the observers will continue their work at "Donetsk" and "Gukovo" checkpoints on the Russian side of the border.
