FSB officers have encircled the building of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people -- representative-executive body of Crimean Tatars in Simferopol September 16.
Masked, armed FSB officers and policemen who have encircled the Mejlis building in Simferopol Sept 16 refuse to comment the situation, saying “we are not authorized to comment anything”.
According to QHA correspondent, there is a search being conducted inside of the building.
The editorial office of Crimean Tatar Avdet newspaper, located in the Mejlis building, is also being searched. The chief editor is absent so the search is being conducted without him.
Prisoner transport vehicle has arrived at the scene.
Earlier this morning house of Eskender Bariev, member of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people, was searched for banned literature by armed FSB officers.
This comes a day after unknown masked men tore off Ukrainian flag from the Mejlis building.
