Majlis functionary summoned by SSU because of Crimean Tatar flag

AQMESCİT/SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Chief of the Office of the Majlis of Crimean Tatar nation Zahir Smedlâ is summoned to the Crimea’s Department of the Secret Service of Ukraine because of his statements about the Crimean Tatar flag today, July 1.
SSU summons Mr. Z. Smedlâ because he called the Crimean Tatar flag as a state attribute during the celebration of the Crimean Tatar National Flag Day.
It would be recalled that Mr. Z. Smedlâ said on June 26 that every people has several sings identified it as a nation: “I am very happy we have such flag! I hope our children will see that this flag will be as official flag some day”.
