Five new police officers put up a fight at Metro night club in Lviv on October 29, stated Catherina Rybyi, spokeswoman of Lviv police.

According to her, five police officers being off service had a good time at Metro nightclub located on Zelena St. ‘showed incorrect behavior and started a fight with security and some visitors.’

“There was a fight. The issue of these police officers dismissal for misconduct is currently under consideration,” said the spokeswoman.

This information was confirmed by Denis Kharchuk, press secretary of the State Security Servie in Lviv region. He said that ‘alarm button’ call from Metro night club security was received around 5:00 on October 29.

According to Denis Kharchuk, the security guards stopped the public order infringement. However, he refused to comment further saying that the guard service has performed its functions and the case is being investigated by police.
