At least 12 people have died in a helicopter crash west of the Libyan capital Tripoli, according to local authorities.
According to the reports, the helicopter was shot down in the Al-Maya coastal region, which has seen clashes between rival militias. Who shot down the helicopter, is still unknown.
The helicopter had been carrying cash for a local bank.
According to preliminary data, all the people on board have been killed. According to local media, dead may include high-ranking militia members and bank workers.
