Unknown masked people abducted Belyal Adilov near the Kremlin-controlled Supreme Court of the Crimea, while he was reading a prayer service for the release of the defendants.
“The iniquitous abduction of the Crimean Tatar Belyal Adilov by masked people near the Supreme Court of Crimea! None of the attackers introduced themselves, they behaved boldly. Some people witnessed the incident and somebody managed to make a video. The information is being checked,” the lawyer Kurbedinov wrote.
He also reports that Adilov is a civilian activist who came as a listener to court hearings. He was present during the searches carried out earlier in the suburbs of Simferopol, together with other civil activists.
Later it became known that the detainee was in the Russian administration "Sledkom in the Crimea." He is charged with art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - the use of violence or threats against a representative of the authorities.
Human rights defenders believe that the disappearance of Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea is part of political persecution.
