Identity of a woman who left her baby in Yalta’s park on October 7 has been established. The child has been recognized by its own grandmother, said an unnamed police source.
“Identity of the baby’s mother has been established. She is a resident of Alushta. The baby has been identified by the family’s friend and later recognized by its grandmother,” said the source.
At the moment, investigation into the incident is ongoing. There has not been any official confirmation of the identity of the baby’s mother being established yet, reports RIA Novosti.
It was reported earlier that police officers found a baby boy aged 6 to 9 months in Yalta’s Massandrovsky Park next to the Donbass recreational facility on October 7. The baby was wearing a dirty overall of white color with the words ‘body baby’ on it.
