Helicopter crashes in Russia

A Mi-8 helicopter which was carrying 26 passengers crashed in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region.

A Mi-8 helicopter owned by the Turukhan company crashed in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region, reports Echo Moskvy.

The crash occurred near the town of Igaraka on the left bank of the Yenisei River in the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk region. All 15 passengers, including 3 crew members, were killed in the crash, reports KavkazCentr.

An investigation has been launched into the crash. Rescue workers are currently working at the crash site.
