A heavy snowfall brought traffic to a standstill in Kiev, reports Espreso.TV. As of 3.57 p.m. traffic jams in the city hit ‘5’, but the downtown area is still in the red, which means that vehicles caught in the traffic jams can move no faster than 15 km per hour.
There have been four accidents near the Lva Tolstogo metro station, with several other accidents occurring in different areas of the city. According to weather forecast, 7 to 10 mm of snow is expected in the afternoon of December 1. There is also a chance of wet snow and ice glaze. There will be a let-up in the snowy situation as early as December 2.
