Head of the Main Department of MIA of Ukraine in Odesa city was detained when receiving a bribe of $20,000, Anatoly Matios, Deputy Prosecutor General and Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine reported.

“Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reports: Recently, investigators from Military Prosecutors Office of Ukraine together with officers of special subdivision ‘K’ of the Security Service of Ukraine in Odesa region have detained the Head of the Main Department of MIA of Ukraine in Odesa city when receiving a bribe of $20,000 for illegal assistance in resolving a corporate conflict and taking control over property. I am at the scene now. So, we work to implement the principles of zero tolerance to corruption,” Anatoly Matios posted on his Facebook page.
