mental health of Hayser Cemil- the son of the head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar
people Mustafa Cemil, could be re-examined, states Hayser’s lawyer Aleksandr

to Mr. Lesovoy, at present his client has gone through examination and now is
back to detention ward.

“The court
may assign re-examination”, - claims Mr. Lesovoy.   As for the date of the trial, the lawyer says
that he doesn’t have such information yet, but more likely we are talking about
a few days.

It should
be recalled, that the accident occurred on May 27 this year, at the residence
of the younger son of the head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people in Bakchisaray
town.  Hayser Cemil killed a man with a
firearm.  The killed man- a 44-year old
Fevzi Edemov was a builder and helped Cemil’s family with finishing
construction works of their house and other kinds of housework.  Moreover, he was a relative of the head of
Mejlis of Bakchisaray district- Ahtem Chiygoz.
Fevzi Edemov had a wife and a small child.

A criminal
case was initiated, which preliminarily qualified the case under the part 1 of
article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine- intentional murder.

In the beginning of June, Hayser was transferred
from the detention ward to the mental hospital for mental health examination.
