ANKARA (QHA) -

Barely a day after the announcement of ceasefire in Aleppo, the city was again subjected to attacks of the Assad regime and the Iranian Shiite militants.

Violation of the ceasefire was also reported by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, according to AA.

At the moment, it is known that the Assad forces and their allies resumed their offensive in the east of the ruined city, using heavy weapons. The attack began at 10:30 local time.

Information about the victims and survivors is yet absent.

Earlier, following several days of fierce fighting and executions on December 13, the ceasefire was declared in the Syrian Aleppo, primarily aimed at the evacuation of the civilian population.

The protests started in some countries of the world in order to attract public attention to the brutality of actions of the Bashar al-Assad regime and Russia in Syria generally and in Aleppo particularly.

Aleppo is the second largest Syrian city after Damascus, which is located 40 kilometers from the Turkish border. The western part of the city is under the control of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the East was under the control of Syrian opposition. The civil war in the country began in March 2011 with the shooting of peaceful protesters by military personnel. Air Forces Russian, as an ally of the repressive regime of Bashar al-Assad, systematically carried out air strikes on the alleged positions of the Syrian opposition in eastern Aleppo, destroying and civilians.
