The captain of the occupying Russian Armed Forces, driving an official car, hit a local woman who died as a result of the incident in the village of Kadievka (Stakhanov). The tragedy occurred on October 9th, the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports on Facebook.
According to GUR, a Russian officer of the self-propelled howitzer artillery battalion 7 separate motorized rifle brigade (Bryanka) 2 AA (Luhansk) Traffic police of the so-called "DPR MIA" who arrived on the scene, found that the driver was in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication. The offender resisted in drawing up the protocol, and stated that he had "immunity" as he served on the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to him, he belonged to the 70th separate motorized rifle brigade (Ussuriisk) 5 Army of the Eastern Military District (Khabarovsk), the RF Armed Forces. "DPR police" recorded the information.
The Ukrainian intelligence informed that in order to avoid leakage of information about the incident, the Russian military was detained and taken to the local slammer. At the same time, "the DPR Ministry of Security" limited the access to the protocol of the event to prevent the leakage of information as well.
