October 27, 2015. Due to explosion in the mine (Krasnoarmeysk district) one rescuer died and two were seriously injured, press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk region reports.
It was the second explosion in the mine for the last few days. Since yesterday, the team of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine for Emergencies has tried to extinguish the fire caused by the first explosion.
The report on the second explosion in airway of the same longwall face was received by police around 19:15 on October, 27.
Now the mine is closed. The investigation team of Krasnoarmeysk city police department is working at the scene.
