Dog poisoner held up in Kiev

According to the Kiev Police Department, the man poisoned several dogs in Kiev’s Fomin Botanical Garden.

A man and a woman, who saw two dogs die after being fed by a man in Kiev’s Fomin Botanical Garden, held up the man and called the police.

The food the man fed the dogs, the man’s skin surface samples, a fragment of the man’s pocket and dead dogs were sent to the forensic lab for testing.

The man, a Kiev resident, who has a previous felony conviction, has had a criminal case initiated against him as per Article 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (‘Cruelty to Animals’).
