Crimean police investigate vandalism to Turkish Memorial in Sevastopol

The law enforcement bodies of occupied Crimea are investigating the act of vandalism against the Memorial to Turkish soldiers, located in Sevastopol.

- Today I’ve addressed the law enforcement agencies to take corresponding measures to find and apprehend criminals, Rahim Humbatov, the Head of the Azerbaijani community in Crimea, wrote on Faccebook.

February 2, in the city of Sevastopol, a group of vandals damaged tombstones of the Memorial to Turkish soldiers.

In turn, "the governor of the city of Sevastopol" Sergei Menyailo said the Turkish Memorial was destroyed by weather.
