One of the Crimean local broadcasters Chernomorskaya Teleradiokompaniya, that covered political situation and tension in Crimean region was forced off the air, UNIAN reported.

Head of the transmitting center, said the broadcasting had been stopped because of reasons that were unrelated to his agency, but did not offer further details.

"Only two local channels are broadcast on the territory of the whole autonomous republic--Chernomorskaya Teleradiokompaniya and Crimean state broadcaster GTRK Krym. By turning off Chernomorskaya, regional residents have been stripped of their right to choose. Now, we all must have only one, 'correct' opinion," Aleksandra Kvitko, the broadcaster's chief editor said.

The Center for Investigative Journalism, an agency based in Crimea's administrative center, Simferopol, that runs investigative projects and journalist training was also stormed by armed Russian militants on Sunday.

Number of Ukrainian and Crimean news agencies, among them QHA news agency, announced they also was subjected to denial-of-service attacks.
