A huge hole beneath the pond in southern China has swallowed the whole water and 25 tons of fish.
It is assumed that proactive works in the quarry nearby caused the formation of the hole.
“First I noticed a drop in water level of my pond at 4 a.m., when I inspected the farm. At 9 a.m., most of the water and all my fish were sucked, as if in a sinkhole,” Mashable reports local farmer as saying.
At the moment, the direct loss is estimated to be $75 thousand. The sinkhole has swallowed almost all of the water and 25 tons of fish.
