The Chairman of the Muslim community was searched In the village of Voinka, Nariman Dzhelalov, the first Mejlis Deputy Head, wrote on Facebook:
- Shaipa Suleymanov, the Chairman of the local Muslim community, was searched at 8.00 a.m. in the village of Voinka, Krasnoperekopsky district in Crimea.
As QHA reported earlier, on February, 11 a wave of searches swept the Crimean Tatars’ houses in order to discredit them as "terrorists". Often the security forces acted aggressively – broke windows and forcibly took away people.
During the interrogation, the detainees were asked whether they or their friends are terrorists, whether they engage in any extremist organization and are going to Syria.
