A car came under fire in Kiev’s Deputatskaya Street, reports the press service of the Kiev Police Department.
According to a police spokesperson, somebody reported unidentified individuals firing several shots at a Toyota car trapped in a traffic jam in Kiev’s Svyatoshinsky district. Following the incident, the car’s driver received two non-penetrating wounds of the hip.
“The injured driver is now giving evidence to police officers from Kiev’s Svyatoshynsky police department who arrived at the incident site. The injured person sought no medical aid,” reads the press-service’s statement.
The incident has been qualified as an attempted murder and a criminal case initiated.
