As a result of militants shelling in Avdiivka, a British photo journalist Christopher Nunn was injured. He was transported to the Dnieper hospital with an eye injury.
“February 2, as a result of shelling of a settlement Avdiivka by the Russian-occupation troops, a British photographer Christopher Nunn was injured. He was evacuated with the left eye injury to the 66th Military Medical hospital, and after examination transported to the Dnipro Regional Hospital named after Melnikov for a qualified medical care,” reads the message of the ATO headquarters press center.
"Just talked to our chief military physician. State of the journalist from the UK is stable," Chief of the Defense Ministry press center Oksana Gavrilyuk reported.
Earlier, European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli urged the parties in the conflict to respect the ceasefire in order to avoid the final destruction of the socio-economic infrastructure of Donbas.
