The humanitarian aid convoy has been hit by airstrikes, killing 7 people, near the Turkish-Syrian border on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. According to Humanitarian Relief Foundation, the airstrikes were launched by Russian fighter jets, an independent news bureau reports, referring to the Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah.
“At least 7 people were killed and 10 injured in the airstrike. Russian fighter jets targeted the humanitarian convoy,” says the statement.
The aid convoy was attacked in the northwestern Syrian city of Azaz located near the border with Turkey.
