A fire broke out at Kharkov’s Barabashovo market, one of Ukraine’s largest outdoor markets. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started after faulty wiring at the market’s Inter-2 pavilion short-circuited. Currently, several firefighter brigades are trying to contain the fire.

“The Barabashovos’s Inter-2 pavilion is on fire. Looks like faulty wiring is to blame,” eyewitnesses report.

An area of 300 square meters is reported to be on fire at the moment.

An investigation into the cause and possible perpetrators of the fire has been launched.
