A powerful blast occurred on the site of the Polish Consulate at 10.30 p.m. on October 7. According to Dmitry Zagariya, Chief Police Officer of the Lvov region, the blast happened in a drive-in area.
Police officers with sniffer dogs and demolition experts who are currently working on the blast site say an RG-42 hand grenade thrown into a trash can might have caused the blast.
