Morning January 15 around 09.00 a.m. a gas explosion on the fifth floor of an apartment building occurred in the in the town of Ukrainsk, Donetsk region, reported the Region Prosecutor's Office.

- The blast damaged the apartment walls and windows. According to preliminary data four people are still under the rubble, a woman born in 1983 and three children aged five months, four and nine years, according to the report.

Reportedly, the rescuers pulled from the rubble a woman and two girls, 4 and 9 years old. Currently, a woman and a 9-year-old girl with injuries have been taken to a hospital. Another girl, born in 2011, has also been pulled out of the rubble, but died in a hospital because of severe injuries.

The 5-month-old baby is still under the rubble.
