Recorders of the Boeing 737-800, which crashed at the airport of Rostov-on-Don, have strong mechanical damage, reported the Interstate Aviation Committee as cited by RIA "Novosti."

- The Interstate Aviation Committee specialists jointly with the UAE and French experts have started the inspection, opening and removing the memory modules from their protected covers to further restore the cable connections and prepare the data for copying. The preparatory works are to be completed by the end of the day, told the Committee.

The decoding of the black boxes may take about a month. The exact timing will depend on their state.

The investigation will be conducted by the Emirates as the country- register of the Flydubai company, USA – a country-manufacturer of the Boeing, France - manufacturer of aircraft engines. In addition, the countries whose nationals were killed in the crash, have also been invited to the investigation.

On a night March, 19 the FlyDubai Boeing 737-800, coming from Dubai, crashed near the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don on the night of March 19 killing all 55 passengers and 7 crew members aboard. The crash might have been caused by poor weather conditionss.
