Following the terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium has closed down its border with France, BBC Ukraine reports.
Security has also been stepped at Belgium’s nuclear installations.
As of now, ISIS has officially been named a suspect in the terror attacks, reports NBC.
“European counterterrorist organizations have confirmed that ISIS is suspected of being behind the multiple attacks in Brussels, NBC reports.
It was reported earlier that two blasts occurred at Brussels’ Zaventem airport at 8 a.m. local time on March 22.
Two explosions were also reported to have occurred at two subway stations outside EU institutions and near a neighborhood where emigrants reside.
The Belgian government has officially recognized the attacks which claimed the lives of 23 people acts of terrorism.
The attacks might have been retaliation for a March 18 arrest of Salakh Abdesalam, a man suspected of masterminding terror attacks in Paris.
