At least 2 people have been killed and 21 injured in two separate attacks in Jerusalem this morning, reports the Jerusalem Post citing Jerusalem Police Department.

The first attack in which 16 people were injured took place on a bus in the capital's Armon Hanatziv neighborhood. According to police, one of the two terrorists who carried out the attack was neutralized and the other detained by police officers who arrived at the accident site.

The second attack occurred in Malkei Street where a man drove up to a group of several people and assaulted them with a knife, killing one man and injuring five. The attacker was detained by police.
