BAKCHISARAY (QHA) -

A house of another Crimean Tatar is being searched in occupied Crimea, Head of the Central Election Commission of the Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar People Zair Smedlyaev reported on Facebook.

The house of Refat Mazalov is being searched at St. Fidanlar, 6, the city of Bakhchisarai. The armed men in balaklavas and in special vehicles cordoned off the surrounding area, wrote Smedlyaev.

According to "Crimean political prisoners" , Refat Mazalov has been taken to the police station in the city of Bakhchisarai without explanation.

A video was being captured when Refat Mazalov was taken away. The officers of the special police forces demanded to delete the video, reads the report.

Currently, Refat Mazalov is at the police station in the city of Bakhchisaray.

Smedlyaev said the detainee is an "absolutely apolitical person and does not advocate any religious movements."

Perhaps they hope that no one will pay attention and they will squeeze out of him testimony in all criminal cases, Smedlyaev told the QHA.

As QHA reported earlier, August, 4 the security officials were trying to sneak into the office of lawyers Emil Kurbedinov and Eden Semedlyaev in order to get access to documents in the cases of Hizb ut-Tahrir and the “February, 26"; maybe in such a strange way they tried to "invite" Kurbedinov to the Kiev District Court that was holding hearing over the Vadim Siruk’s complaint. An eyewitness who saw how the unknown tried to break into the office said the latter are the FSB officers.
