Apartment building fired upon in Mariupol

An anti-tank grenade launcher is reported to have been used in the attack.

An anti-tank grenade launcher was used in an attack on an apartment building in Mariupol on October 19, says a statement issued by Donetsk Region Police Department.

A blast in an apartment building in Mariupol’s Primorsky district was reported at 5 a.m. After arriving at the site of the accident, police recovered two anti-tank grenade launchers – a used one and a ready to be fired one. Both of the grenade launchers were sent for ballistic testing.

An investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
