Another two power lines to Crimea attacked

Saboteurs mined two power lines in Melitopol-Dzhankoy direction, but have failed to achieve their goal.

Two power lines in Melitopol-Dzhankoy direction were mined by unidentified persons near the village of Chongar on the night Oct. 19-20, reports the QHA (Crimean News agency) citing the Ukraine’s Security Service in the Kherson region. Mining was done by two mortar shells, one of which detonated, and the second - no.

As a result, one line has been damaged, but not greatly so it still remains on the site. Police and explosives experts have been working at the scene.

Reminder: Oct. 6, the QHA reported the similar incident to have taken place in the area of the village of Chongar. Then the concrete pillar had also become the object of sabotage and also resisted after the explosive threats have occurred.
