Despite the declared Crimean dayoff, all the Crimean authorities keep working, Aksyonov told a briefing.
- Together with the government we consider the proposal on the use of military technology, in particular diesel generators, to compensate for power shortage. I think we’ll find a right solution among the options proposed, said the self-proclaimed Crimean Head.
According to Aksyonov, the blowing up of the transmission power lines was a terrorist attack and these actions will be given an appropriate legal assessment.
- I cannot call it any other way, but a terrorist attack. The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Crimea is now considering all the facts on the circumstances under which the electricity supply to the peninsula has been stopped. Nevertheless, nobody will put Crimeans on the knees! We will not allow bargaining with us this way and thus will not allow anyone to talk to us from a position of strength! Said Aksyonov.
