9 killed in shootout with probably "ISIL" terrorists in Turkey

These were the first clashes with terrorists since Turkey has started carrying out air strikes on “ISIL” positions in Syria.

Two policemen and seven probable "Islamic state" terrorists have been killed in a shootout in southeast Turkey, reported the Turkish officials as cited by BBC Ukraine.

The incident occurred during the house raids carried out by the police in the city of Diyarbakir. According to security officials, the terrorists were hiding in the houses.

Reportedly, the clashes in the city of Diyarbakir, where mainly Kurds preside, are going on.
