“An estimated 490 kilos of cocaine concealed in frozen minced meat originating from Brazil has been seized. The cocaine came in plastic-wrapped packets hidden inside the meat,” says a statement issued by the customs service.

Three weeks ago, a 172-kilo cocaine consignment delivered from Brazil was seized at the same customs.

A criminal probe has been launched into the seizure but there is no one to charge with it.

An investigation is currently ongoing.
