Crimeans, who enrolled at higher education establishments before the occupation of the peninsula, may transfer to a similar institution in mainland Ukraine at any time.
According to 15 Minutes, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Inna Sovsun stated this responding to a question from ATR TV channel during a briefing.
“Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the enrollment of those who became a student after 2014. We also do not recognize any documents with the wording: the Republic of Crimea, Russian Federation,” Sovsun said.
The Deputy Minister also noted that she would ask the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to allocate quotas to universities for Crimeans.
