As part of a joint initiative between the Maarif Association of Crimean Tatar Educationalists and Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historic Legacy, lectures were held at Crimean Tatar schools in Crimea.

According to Safure Kadzhametova, Chairman of the Maarif Association, it has become a tradition to hold such lectures on an annual basis.

Both the teachers and students benefited from the open lectures given by Shefik’ya Abduramanova, a famous literary critic and educator, who works at the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historic Legacy.

It was reported earlier that a literary contest in memory of Noman Çelebicihan was held for students of Crimean Tatar schools by the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people in Simferopol on February 23.

Also, the 6th Kuresh wrestling contest in memory of Noman Çelebicihan was held in the town of Zaozyornoye’s National paralympic center (near Yevpatoriya) on the same day
