Islamic Development Bank announced its readiness to support Crimean Tatar people in development of national education.
Crimean Tatar leader, Ukraine’s MP Mustafa Jemilev paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia, where conducted a number of meeting in Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Among the discussed issues there was establishing of Crimean Tatar national schools and infant schools, along with financial support of students.
The terms and the sum of financial supports are to be determined, press-service of Mejlis of Crimean Tater people reported.
To recall, Leader of Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev met with secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani in Jiddah, Saudi Arabiya April 10.
The OIC secretary-general pointed out the possibility and necessity for Ukraine to join the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, adding that the OIC supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
