April 23, a journalist and political analyst, Dean for the Television Department of the Graduate School, Vitaly Tretyakov set forward a proposal to use Soviet books for teaching children in Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

- As an experiment, I propose to return to a Soviet curriculum in Crimea and Sevastopol. Five years from now let’s compare the results of the Soviet and "innovative" curricula, said Tretyakov as cited by Our Newspaper.
