YALTA (QHA) - Yalta authorities are planning, besides treatment and health-improvement tourism, to make an accent on cruise and congress tourism, on creation of a kind of Davos on the Crimean southern coast. Yalta city mayor Serhiy Ilash has said about this to journalists in the course of the International Black Sea Economic Forum, Ukrinform reports. “We propose to participants in the forum to create the Yalta analogue of the “Davos village,” which will make it possible for representatives of business, political and economic circles to gather on the southern coast of Crimea over the entire year round,” Ilash noted. Ilash also believes that development of cruise tourism should become one of priority trends for Yalta, since according to the statistics, about 15 million tourists annually travel by sea and the number of cruise tourists increases by one million every year.
