Ukrzaliznytsia will submit claim to RF on property in Crimea

At the moment, experts are calculating the financial impact of the property lost as a result of the annexation.

The Ukrainian railway company "Ukrzaliznytsia" is exploring a possibility to file a court claim against the Russian Federation concerning the property, the company lost due to the Crimea annexation according to the UNN report referring the Head of the company Wojciech Balchun.

- We are analyzing the issue, I know it. It has a lot of measurings. We are calculating the financial implications of such actions, - he said.

The head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" also promised to announce the final decision on the matter.

But the Head of the of Information Policy and Public Relations Department of "Ukrzaliznytsia" Daniil Vahowski, when asked by a QHA correspondent for a more detailed description of the lost property, said that he would not comment on Crimea issues.

As QHA reported earlier, the Deputy Minister of the Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons George Tuka said that Ukraine is preparing lawsuits against the Russian Federation for the destroyed plants in the occupied Crimea.

It should be reminded, that Russia annexed Crimea in 2014. Ukrainian Parliament considers February 20, 2014 the official date of the Peninsula occupation.
