According to the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey, the Ukrainian-Turkish Business Forum has started its work in the Turkish city of Kocaeli today.

The event is organized by the Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Eurasian Economic Relations (EkoAvrasya) and the International Association of Turkish and Ukrainian businessmen (TUİD).

About 200 representatives from the Republic of Turkey and Ukraine participate in the business forum held on June 1-4. Ukraine is represented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey Sergiy Korsunsky, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine V. Korol, as well as representatives of the Consulate General and Ukrainian business.

The main goal of the Business Forum is to discuss the development of relations between the two countries and establish direct business contacts. Besides a number of business meetings, the participants will assess the investment opportunities in Turkey, Ukraine and the Turkish region of Kocaeli, as well as review the results of the Turkish business in Ukraine and discuss trade and investment climate after the signing the Free Trade Agreement between Turkey and Ukraine.
