Ukraine to lift electricity price for Crimea

The electricity price for the Crimean people can increase by 15%.

Ukraine plans to increase the price for electricity, supplied to Crimea, on average by 15% - to RUB 3.95 per kW, said in a statement the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchishin at a briefing in Kiev.

- The talks on price hiking for Crimea keep on going on. It will be RUB 3.95 per kW after RUB 3.42, reports Segodnya citing the Minister.

However, he hasn’t specified when these changed will come into effect.
