(QHA) - Ukraine has suspended gas supplies from Poland due to its high price, deputy chairman of "Naftogaz" board of directors Vadym Chuprun told a press conference, ForUm reports.
"It turns out that the price for Polish has either grown higher or reached the same level as the gas price of Russian "Gazprom"," he said.
In turn, deputy minister for coal and energy Andriy Bondarenko noted price rise for gas from Europe was a regular season price hike. "It will happen again in the future, but on average per year the European gas appears cheaper than Russian."
As reported, the price for imported gas grew in September by 3,43% against August - up to 407 dollars per a thousand cu m.
