Ukraine reduced gas consumption

Over two last months, the gas consumption has fallen by 8.9%.

In January-February, 2016 the natural gas supply to Ukrainian  houses has decreased by 913 mln m3, compared to the same period in 2015, according to "Interfax-Ukraine."

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, in February 2016 the fuel consumption has decreased by 15.9% (to 739.2 mln m3.), while the same month in 2015 it was 3 billion 900.1 mln m3.

In 2015, the gas consumption plummeted by 20.9% (to 8.913 bln m3.), while in 2014 - up to 33.727 bln m3. In particular, the industry has reduced consumption by 19.2% - up to 11.416 bln m3, population and government organizations - by 22.6%, to 12.178 bln m3, BST - by 19.2%, to 6.938 bln m3, while production and processing costs decreased by 15.5% to 3.196 bln m3.
